Under Weight?

I recently bought a corn snake that they said was 4 years old. He weighs 450 grams and is about 4 ft long. I can see his spine and was wondering if he is under weight. I would appreciate your opinions.

That doesn't sound underweight. But a picture would help us tell you better. :)

Handsome chap! Yep looks about right to me as well.

The problem point is where the spine gets so prominent that their cross-section is almost triangular. Yours looks in great shape.
