Hi guys.
im not being paranoid but i noticed this in Dorothys tank tonight and thought it looked a little wierd.
Is it poo or what? i have no idea, it smelt awful though. Dezmonds poos are never like this, there always thick and a lot darker.
Iv mentioned this a few times all ready but bear in mind that she has just laid eggs a few weeks ago and hasnt had a meal for a while. She had a regurge with me last week, she will be getting fed in the next couple of days (will have been 10 days since the re-gurge).

so what do ya think peeps?

I can only appologise for these pics, there pretty sick......

I've had a couple of poops similar to that from my females that have laid eggs, it's usually been the first or second poop after laying though. That consistency of toilet can sometimes happen if the temps are not warm enough as well, as it will be harder to digest food properly at lower temps.

When you offer her the next meal, after the 10 day wait, then try a smaller than usual prey item. If that is digested without problems, do the same again for a couple of feeds before increasing the size slightly. Continue like this until she is eating appropriate sized meals for her size :)

Here's a link to a good feeding guide in case you haven't already found it :)

If she continues to pass toilet like this, then a vet visit may be needed, but I'm pretty sure that once she's eating and digesting properly, barring any other ailments then her toilet should return to normal.

Hope that helps and good luck,
