Wont eat live mouse, but only thing available

right now, my snake hasnt eaten in two weeks. The pet store ran out of frozen mice and he wont eat a live mouse. i have a live mouse in the cage, but they kinda became friends. i was wondering if i should kill the mouse(last time it didnt work, he likes old thawed out ones) or just wait it out?
 
Get it out of there before it bites the snake! You can either return it to the pet store or euthanize it humanely and freeze it.
 
yes remove the mouse live pray does sometimes become the predator. nasty little rodents..... on the up side dont freak its normal for them to not eat for long periods of time and still be healthy. if he goes past a month then the freaking should start
