Hunger strike temps

Dante has been on a hunger strike for almost a month now and I was wondering if I should turn down the temp on his warm side until he eats again. I'm not really worried about the not eating because its that time of year so hes all girl crazy. But I assume there is no real reason to have the temp on the warm side up so much if he doesn't need it to digest. Any thoughts? Thanks

p.s Anyone know where I can get a girly snake blowup doll??

My snake doesn't always go to the warm side after she eats, and she sometimes goes there when she's not digesting. I think I would keep a heat gradient so the snake can thermoregulate.
