Hi there

Just a quick one. When I 1st got Kanga he was a great feeder, as soon as pinkie put infront of him he would strick fast and get the food in him as quickly as possible.

But now....

He looks at it for ages and does not seem to interested, then he'll prod at it with his nose then very slowly open his mouth and take the pinkie very slowly.

It looks very wiered, almost like he's in slow motions or something.

Im not worried as, he is feeding but can anyone explain this very strange feeding behaviour?????

Sounds like he might just be growing up, getting used to you and generally chilling out.

The way they feed seems to be an individual habit. Most of mine will mosey up to the mouse and take it slowly as you describe, but a couple still like to hit it with a wallop and give it a good rolling-around before eating.

I work on the assumption that if they're eating - however they manage it - they must be OK.

Yeah Im not worried coz he is eating.

I like your way of thinking - just growing up and chilling out. he does seem so much more chilled these's days. lol
