Bumps & messed up scales

Hey everyone. When i first got my snake (about a week ago), there was a little bump by the neck, the scale was a little uneven over it. When i just took a look at my snake, there were multiple bumps by the neck, a couple on her body and the scales are all messed up. I'm bringing her to the vet tomorrow, but I was just hoping that someone could possibly give me an idea of what this is. I attached a picture of it, if you focus on the neck, you can really see how raised the scales are on one side.

Can't mites cause raised scales?

i'm not sure. I read online somewhere that usually snakes infested w/ mites like to soak in water, but she hasn't done anything like that.

It’s not mites. I can’t tell for sure from the picture but I think it looks like a bad shed. Try putting the snake in a 5 gallon bucket with maybe 2 quarts of barely warm water (85* water). Let it soak for half an hour and then rub the bumps and see if they come off.

Again, I can’t tell from the picture but it looks like it may have both eye caps still on. Those will rub off too if that is the case.

Are the bumps fluid filled ("squishy")?

I had a Ball Python years ago that had fluid filled blisters all over its body.
