my snake is now feeding on hoppers. he will only feed on live. i feed him weekly he has stopped constricting the mice and now he just snatches them up and gulps them down. is this a problem?

I don't see a problem with it. Your snake will constrict it's prey when it feels the need to. But you really should do your best to move him to F/T instead of live for as the mice get larger, they will be more apt to have a chance to bite your snake.
