what size holes to drill for a hatchling?

I'm looking to build a sheving unit and I want to use the pre-drilled peg boards for a backing. I found some peg boards with 1/8" holes.
So my question is 1/8" hole too big for hatchlings to squeeze through? If so, what size holes should I drill?

You should be OK, but just to be safe, I'd get solid peg board and use 1/16" holes. Better safe than sorry.

For juveniles and adults, the pre drilled pegboard works just fine, and I've used it before with great success, but I just wouldn't trust it with hatchlings.

when in doubt, put window screen behind the pegboard.
