this is not my cornsnake's picture and i apoligize to whoever it is because im going to post it ,,i found it on a site that just has pictures,,anyway check it out


how did this happen,,,

is this good,,,,or bad for the snake

It's my understanding...

from past posts on this site that crickets have absolutely none of the nutritional value that a corn needs.

That said, I suppoe that the movement triggers the feeding response, and the corn is just doing what comes naturaly.

Anything is possible, I suppose, but I doubt a corn hatchling would eat a cricket unless it was scented in some way. So, I don't think that snake naturally took that cricket at all. Furthermore, based upon the defensive pose of the animal, I would suspect that the cricket has been artificially placed in the snakes mouth.

However, ANYTHING is possible . . .
 
bleh! That looks really gross. I'm glad corns don't really eat crickets, or else I wouldn't be able to keep them.
