I have a surplus of chicken eggs. I was wondering has anyone tried feeding eggs to their snakes? I have 4 adults 3-4 YO, size wise I don't think it would be a problem. The eggs are on the small size. They do eat bird eggs in the wild, right??

I don't think corn snakes are able to eat bird eggs. They lack the little "tooth" that cracks the shell. Besides, chickens and especially their eggs have a high incidence of Salmonella and you don't want to risk giving it to your snake.

i give my snakes eggs as a treat about 1ce every 3-4 months.

but never chicken eggs.
i find that chicken eggs have a high instances of salmonella plus they are too big.
if a chicken egg cracks while in the belly of your corn snake, there may be problems.

i feed mine quail eggs.
but mine will only eat them if there is something growing inside(not with just fertile yolk).
i place them in the incubator at 101 degrees then , 3 days before expeced to hatch, i feed them.
