Hi people these days i noticed that my cornsnake was sneezing plus he refused to eat so i keep an eye on him looking for r.i symptoms. Before few minutes i saw mucus on him and i feel terrible about that.

So i have to face an enormous problem i cant find any vet that specialized for snakes(yes on Greece snakes are alien pets from other universe).

I ll be GRATEFUL if anyone knows the medicines for r.i plus the steps for cure.

P.s sry for my bad english.

Well, someone on another forum was treating a ball python with a RI with 0mg/kg baytril shots daily plus I put on my nebulizer with .083% albuterol per dose. It seems to hae worked, but the vet recommended she use saline instead of albuterol. Here the whole thread, I hope it helps: http://www.ultimatebettas.com/index.php?showtopic=38796&hl=

Another thing you can do in the mean time is get the temps up a bit. You are gonna want it about 88F on the warm side and get the viv as dry as possible. Maybe a smaller water bowl! Try not to do any unnecessary handling during this time. Also, beware that some RI's can be contagious, if you have any other snakes.

Keep looking for that vet, too!

Good Luck,

Wayne
