Condensation in Viv

Hello

I just got back from a week holiday in Turkey (saw a grass snake was ace :) ) anyway, when i have got home one side of Elwoods viv has got condensation in it. Is this ok, should i clean the whole viv out do i leave it alone? any one seen this before?

You need to add more airflow/vent to your viv.

The humidity in the viv should not be high enough to create condensation. I agree with Lenny, you probably need more ventilation. You may also want to look for other causes of high humidity.

That happens sometimes when one of mine tips their water bowls. You may want to check if the bedding is wet..

i just opened his viv an there was a film of mold over everything, i feel really bad but i had no idea. i've threw everything out dissinfected the viv an gone a bought new all new stuff. he seems fine but is there anything i should look out for?

An i'm going to turn half the top of the viv in to mesh for a vent, thanks for the help.

What kind of viv is it? You may just be able to drill more holes in the sides if it's not glass.
