Problems with Great Foam Background

Unfortunately my first post on here is trying to get answers for a problem I am having. I recently made a Great Foam background. It looks good, but I am now having problems with the foam peeling off the glass. I am going to completely remove this from the cage out of fear of my corn getting behind the background. I would like to try this again as I am very pleased with the look of it. Does anyone know what can be done to prevent this foam from peeling off?

Thanks for any help that can be provided.

Depending on how badly it's peeling, I don't think it would be a problem with the snake as much as a problem with aesthetics. You might try cutting a piece of thin particle board to fit the viv and then building the foam viv on top of that. This would allow you to remove it more easily than taking a razor to the entire thing if you get tired of it or if it breaks down. Take care to seal the edges of the board with silicone to prevent mold build up behind it.

Thanks for the suggestion. If this one is done peeling away, I may go ahead and use it. I have another tank to finish out, and I will definitely take your advice for that one.
