Have you thought of buying them in bulk from one of the online suppliers. It would be less expensive and more convenient.

Cav has a point there. Most people here either breed their own rodents or order frozen bulk from online suppliers.

I've ordered from them twice and am super happy. They're a hair more expensive, but well worth the cost when the product is clean and vacuum packed.

They have good prices, but the quality of the product varies too much for me to really be satisfied.

Never ordered from them, maybe someone else can help you there.


As much as I hate to say it, Kingsnake.com has an excellent collection of rodent breeders on their site. Here's the link to take your pick of them:

You have to look for the heading Rodents/Feeders, and then peruse through and see what suits your fancy.


Or, look locally in all of New York, you've got more people living in one city than in my whole state. There has to be a rodent feeder breeder in your area somewhere. You just have to look around.

I've got a guy that works with my husband at the Toyota plant that supplies a considerable amount of feeder rodents to local pet store, me, and I believe he does ship his orders as well. He personally delivers to me some of the healthiest rodents around, live or frozen. My last order of 50 hoppers/crawlers only cost me $12.50 for live, and less if I would have had them frozen.
