Is this Suitable for vivarium?

Hi all, my corn is currently in a glass viv but I want to upgrade as he is getting rather big now, I was looking on the ikea website and found this

http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/40105241

I know that it would need some changes to make it fully suitable and I already have the ideas what I am going to do with it. My questions are

1) Is it a suitable size to house an adult corn snake? W 85cm X D 36cm X H 42cm
2) How would I go about heating it? ( I use a UTH with my glass viv but with the wood I'm not sure of if a UTH would heat the viv)

Thank you for reading this

I have seen pics of wood vivs that have like a piece of plexi-glass or a picture frame glass inside the bottom of the viv, but raised up about a 1/2 inch with little stick on rubber legs.
Then it was blocked off around the edges so the snake couldn't get under it. They also just drilled a hole either on the bottom or the side to run the cord through.
Lol, I'm not very good at explaining things!
Hope that helps a bit!

I would use ceramic heaters in a viv like that...
Easy to install and with a pulse stat great for getting a good average temp in the viv...

That is similar to what I did with a T.V. stand:
