Since I only have to snakes and they are pretty new to me, I enjoy watching them eat and spending time making sure they have everything they need so I decided to make them each seperate feeding boxes so I could feed them at the same time and watch them eat. I also wanted to give them a nice, dark place they could rest for a little while after they ate without me dumping them back into their vivs.

Its easy and super cheap! These cost me about 2 bucks a peice. All you need is some old cardboard shoe boxes and a role of colored duct tape (it comes in camo, pink, blue, yellow, hawainn print ect) I picked Camo because I like to hunt.

So here are my boxes!!

Here are the finished products. All I did was carefully wrap all sides of the box until it was covered. IT took alot of measuring and cutting but they turned out good. I kept one half cardboard because I liked the way it looked.

Here is the Camo detail. All i used to wrap the boxes was a role of Mossy Oak duct tape for about $4.

This is Erriccas box before I wrapped the sides.

Note: If you make these, make sure you wrap the holes in the side of the shoe box ON BOTH SIDES so that your snake won't escape of get stuck on the sticky part. Also, I put a layer of paper towels down and change them after every feeding. That is optional. I have used it twice and both my snakes seem to like it :) Enjoy

Don't your snakes push up the lid?
