DIY Fun box!

This is what I like to call a "fun" DIY, it's for if you have a small snake, but you want it to move around but not get lost.


1. Get a box, as big as this or smaller with flaps:

2. Ducktape all the flaps up and if there is a gap at the corners take tape and put it over the gaps.


3. If there is any holes take printer paper or notebook paper and tape it to the side to cover any slits in the sides.

4. Make a hide. Find some styrofoam and find a piece that looks like a cave and break/cut it off. like this one:

5. Put your snakie in the box and let him/her slither!

6. You can also add more things if you want to add to the box.

Nice idea! but whats it for?:toiletgra its like making a cardboard terrarium... its terrarium should be big enough for it to slither around fine. but nice idea! lol

It's a box for your snake to mess around in... If it can't go slither on the floor ect.

I'd suggest making the box more... well... fun. Give it something more to actually do because most vivs are more interesting than the box pictured because at least they can burrow. If you want to show something off, you should make it the best it can be... not just a cardboard box with a piece of styrofoam. :/ How about adding branches to climb through and leaves to hide under?

Also, what's going to keep the snake from getting out?

The flaps on he sides, they are 3x his height.

I have two activity boxes one for CB/CH snakes and one for my WC/LTC snakes. It is a 98QT sterilite with branches, eco earth, hides, huge water dish, pvc tunnels. ETC ETC

Snakes stress in new environments and don't experience the emotion of "fun". Stick to cages and allow them to be big enough for a little exercise no play boxes their not 2 in nature.
