How often do baby corn snakes shead? Mine has been sheding as frequently as every 2 weeks. The last time was in pieces so I have been misting before feedings (every 5 days) humidity is at 50%. She is in blue right now and has not moved and dont know if i should feed. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well babies can shed A LOT! None of mine have shed once per two weeks but I have heard of it before. Usually mine go into shed and shed about once every 3-4 weeks. I wouldn't worry as long as the snake looks healthy and isn't shedding a lot because it has mites or other skin problems.

My hatchlings that hatched on 1st August have shed three times since then, and will again soon.

That's proper spelling of the most oft-misspelled word in the forums! Yep, I've got 4-5 from this years' hatchlings.

Two weeks is too often. Once a month is common. I've seen this a couple of times. One drop of a good liquid multiple vitamin for birds (A, D3, E, etc) on a food item once a month for 2-3 months has solved the problem when a couple of my babies had rapid shedding. Good luck.

ok - I'm curious - why is it a problem if they shed too frequently?

It's a signal that the skin isn't as resistant to mechanical stress as it should be. The original poster also wrote that the snake has shed in pieces, IMHO from the same cause.
