so , i posted like 1week or more ago that my snake had a bad shed and i removed the skin myself by soaking him in warm water and then removed it with my hand. then i fed him and today i was handling him while i noticed something which looks like a dead skin. its only a small piece, i tried to remove it cause i think its a small bit of the sheded skin but only a little bit of skin got off the rest is too hard and it looks like broken scales when stretched.

i also noticed another part far away from it which is like 3times smaller but looks like it. but i didnt try to stretch or remove that one.

can someone tell me if this is part of the bedsheding or an injury ?

if its part of the bad shedding, will it go away in the next shed?
if its an injury , will it go away ? i mean do snakes regrow their scales?

thanks in advance for or your help and info.
peace

I would soak him again for about 30 minutes in a container with a rough washcloth, then run him through the wash cloth to see if any of the remaining bits of shed come off. The reason to be concerned with a few single scales retaining shed is because bacteria can grow underneath there.
