tip of tail shed problem!

hey everyone! well i acquired a 7 month old corn a month ago, he's doing great and all but there is a stuck bit of shed on the tip of his tail, and seem to be constricting circulation there a little. now the ex-owner told me about it and advised me to bathe (spelling?) the snake or to wet the tip of my fingers with water and apply moisture on it. i've tried it several times and sprayed water in his hide so to help with humidity but it is still stuck :( are there any fool proof method to help with this? like using some sort of soft wetting agent like soap + water....thx in advance for your inputs!!

Have you tried soaking him, then letting him slide through a towel, given extra attention to the tail?

Yes, soak him in luke warm water for 20 or 30 minutes and then hold onto him with a towel and let him rub against the towel to loosen anything that may be stuck.

I would follow what they say. I usally just take a slightly warm towel and let them slide through it. It seems to work.
