hey guys iv had my corn for over a year now and hes 33in's and 181 grams and throughout his life it seems i feed him he poops in his cage but when i take him out to handle after this he still has like a big bump at his tail area its like right in frount of his pooper. now when i have him out i like to let him roam on my floor which he enjoys but after a good 10 minutes he poops and then the bump goes away but why is it there and why doesnt he just go in his cage i dont know if this is normal or theres something wrong with him. thanks

I bet nothing's wrong with him. In fact, it's pretty normal for corns to feel "stimulated" by handled which leads to pooping. :)

He'll go eventually. Torandre is my queen of the "I hafta poop"-butt. It sometimes takes her up to a week to get rid of it once it's visible. But she's growing like a weed and doing great.

My amel just pooped on my boots/carpet the other day! Everyone else seemed to enjoy it - my boots, however, were a bit upset! ;)

Yeah it's normal, my very first corn Sneeze ALWAYS poops on me when she gets out. I really do think she waits. I think Emily is right, the movement and excitement stimulates them to "bombs away" =)

the bump your seeing before the vent is normal. i think its just he fecal matter all right there ready to blow. and why hes pooping out of the cage is simple. its either the dont poop where you eat rule, or hes just exercising and it makes him go. just like a running dog will take a good poop too. and i wouldnt be worried. i bet he'd poop in his cage if you didnt let him out to poop. he probably does it because then he knows its not in his nice home.
