question about sheds

I was wondering if the shed skin can desolve in water? My amel had one shed where I know none was left on her but I could only find half of it and it was pointing into the water dish. My normal has been with me since. . . I think September? I've only gotten one shed skin from him. I wonder if he could have shed in his water and it desolved? For any worried that he has only shed once (maybe) he is in the blue now.

Pointing towards the water dish? You may already know this but just to clarify, the tail end is where the snake crawled out of it's shed, not the head end.

I don't think they can dissolve. You'd never find one outside, then. I think you just haven't found the rest. Sometimes they get hidden very well.
