Swallowing Backwards

My 4 month old okeetee eats willing and quickly but half of the time I feed he swallows the frozen(twaed) pinky tail first.
Could this pose a problem? If sO how do I fix it?
I always put the pinky face to face with the snake yet he'll eat it tail first.

It's called breech feeding and as far as I know it's not a problem. If your snake is feeding on adult mice I guess it could slow him down a bit eating against the natural direction of the fur, otherwise it all goes to the same place for digestion.

My corn just fed today, and fed tail first on one fuzzy, and the other, head first. Didn't seem to bother him at all. It would have made it easier if he had constricted them though. They would have put up less of a fight and he would have been able to eat them more easily. There's no explaining it to them though!
