They grow to about 5-6foot, I should think all adult's would grow bigger than 21/2 foot, mine is 3foot now and she is about two year's old in August

The average to around 4-6 feet. Males tend to be a bit larger. bigger, and longer than the females. Ususally females grow to around 4 feet (this might be because of breeding and all the hard working in laying eggs thus stunning their growth. Males don't need to lay the eggs so they tend to get larger and since they are not the ones carrying the eggs their growth doesn't get stuned as much.)

Good Luck and Happy Herping!

In the wild: between 2-5 feet
And in captivity: 3-6 feet

I guess they grow larger in captivity thanks to the great care we provide.:D

I agree with Cornsnakekeeper.
There is a wide variation in adult size, mainly due to genetic make-up.

Holy Cow! This thread was deader than Michael Jackson's career!

Resurrecting a dormant thread that is more than 3 years old is grounds for a public flogging John......

Rubbish, a thread is never dead.

I'd argue that this hobby and the experience of the forum's membership has changed exponentially in three years. Many of those old thread are rather worthless. ;)

I'll disagree wholeheartedly with your assessment of average length for example.

With the arguing or with the bringing up of old threads? Either way I agree.
