  • Very nice! I have wanted a snake for many years, but never thought about it seriously until my partner and I moved in together. I wanted a cat... but he's allergic. But I think I like the snakes better anyways ;)
Just Severus :). We also have my 2 cats and his dog. He'd probably be more willing to agree to another snake before he'd ever let me get another cat. Lol.

I've always loved butter morphs. Not at a place at the moment to get another setup, so maybe down the road. :)
That's too cute about her looking for a 2nd hopper :). Glad to hear she was able to get it down. Moving up to the next size prey can be nerve-racking to watch! And no more snakes. I think my boyfriend would freak out. Lol.
Hi! Yeah, wow! They are two peas in a pod, that's for sure! Last time I checked, right around Sydney's 16 month mark, she was 83 grams.
I just fed her her first hopper yesterday morning, and although she had a tricky time figuring out how to swallow it, she got it down :) then was looking for the second one - since I'd normally feed her two fuzzies ;)
Hopefully everything goes well with the hoppers for Severus! Are you planning on getting another snake at the show?
Hello :). For a while now I've worried that Severus was smaller than he should be for his age. He's 16 months and weighs 84 grams. I'll finally be moving him to hoppers once I get them from the reptile show this Sunday. I think our snakes are right around the same as far as age and weight goes. It's silly, but knowing that they are similar in those terms has really made me more comfortable with where he is.
