  • Hey guy,
First let me say thanks for all the advice and links on hognose genetics.
Also the heads up on extreme hogs. I've done my homework and have no intentions of working with Justin. I've read the posts and don't need the risk! Someone had been watching out for me when Justin didn't return my 5 emails, maybe when I said I was retired (age=wisdom) and a biologist (experience w/ animals) he knew I wouldn't be an easy mark. I also just got a bad vibe from his look at me I'm the best website before I'd read about him.
On a positive note the animals I spoke of are coming from Brent and my plans are to deal with reputable like him, Mr. Bennett and you.
I'm working on setting up a top notch program and will keep your website on my list ;)
    Thanks again, Steve Noel
Ps as a newbie with no personal experience I WILL NOT comment on this on the forum. Take care!
Hi there, names Steve. I hear you're the resident hognose expert around these here parts ;) would you mind explaining a thing or two? I'm just wondering what is meant by "double het snow", I've not seen it anywhere before except with hogs (and maybe balls?). I understand how a snake can have multiple hets but what is meant by double. Thanks very much!
It's that time of year again. The PDX Reptile Expo... I can't wait! As usually I will not be planning to purchase any new additions, but high white and albino kings always catch my eye.

We will also be having another breakfast get together before the show just outside the doors of the show. I was there around 8am then jumped into line around 9am I think. Anyone who would like to come a bit before the show is more than welcome, bring a little something breakfasty to share. It worked out great at the last show. Hope to see you / meet you there!
    Hi, DM,
I'm just a mom who bought a lot of cornsnakes, thinking my son & I might develop it into a hobby together. Needless to say, 3 years have gone by, they're all getting to a breedable age & my son has lost interest. I have 15 snakes & several nice snake racks to sell. I'm in Sequim, on the Olympic Peninsula. You can email me @
[email protected] if you'd like pictures. I'm not using the classifieds on the forum, because I don't need to reach people all over the globe! I just want to be able to drive them to the person, or meet halfway, not ship them.
Hey all just a reminder that the show is only a few days away! August 14th in Willsonville OR. the doors open at 10am but we are having a CS.com member Breakfast potluck before the show starts on the upper terrace (see bottom of linked page for map) http://www.hiportlandsouth.com/meetings/capacity_floor_plans.html right beside the entrance of the Expo. Good News Friends! I talked with Joel (event organizer for the PDX Expo I believe) and he said that we would be able to use the “Upper Terrace” just outside the Expo area in the Hotel the morning of the Expo.
Here is a link to a map of the Hotel (bottom of page)

The Expo is held in the “Dogwood, Cottonwood, Redwood and Candlewood” Rooms. We will be meeting on the Upper Terrace” just outside the Expo. Joel mentioned letting us pay our entry fee ahead of time. Adults $7 Kids 6-12 $3. There is a show coupon you can print off at the bottom of the Show web page.

We decided to have our get together in the morning before the show because a few of our members are vendors and after the show it would be unwise to keep unsold or newley purchased animals in cars for any length of time during the heat of the day. I know it’s early but I plan on being there at 8am. The doors are opened to go into the expo at 10am and there is usually a line of people waiting to get in before that, so 8am gives us a few hours to chat before the show.
I know everyone is on a tight budget but since it will be early and we aren’t meeting at a restaurant I thought it would be nice if everyone could bring a breakfasty type item to share. I plan to bring muffins from Costco, but other ideas might include fruit salad, granola bars, pastries, juices etc. Please message me and let me now what you plan to bring so we don’t have ppl bringing the same things. I am very excited to meet everyone and to have a great time at the show.
So I would like to organize a get together for those of us (Pacific NW Cornz) who plan on going to the Portland Metro Reptile Expo in August, preferably meeting at a food joint in the vicinity of the Holiday. Idk when would be a good time because I know a few of you will be vendors. But if anyone knows of a good place to eat let me know. So far I have seen a Pizza place and a BBQ.
