my wife loves the blue in your snake would like to know where you got her from. ty in advace tom
Thank you for the good wishes, I'm sure I'll post updates on her as she grows. She shed an hour or so ago, so I'm getting very tempted to offer her a feed, although I'll probably wait a few more days for her to settle in first. It's just really nice to have something a little different from the corns and she's such a sweetie :)
Oh dear! I'm sorry you had so much trouble with him and that he didn't thrive for you :( Maybe it was just something internal that wouldn't support his growth after a certain point, I know that can happen with corns, so I don't see why it couldn't happen with a kingsnake too. I'm sorry if I have brought up bad memories, didn't mean to ;)
    Best wishes, Sue x
Thanks for the rep about my new little kingsnake :) I saw a post by you in the MBK club thread from when you got your one, if you don't mind can I ask what happened to him? I won't be offended if you'd rather not answer........
    Thanks again, Sue
Ah ok, I was just wondering because there is also a show in Charlotte this weekend :p
I actually have worked with raptors at a rehab facility in Colorado. I worked with the Golden and Bald Eagles and we would do education programs and ask people how much they weighed. You could only imagine the answers we got! They were always surprised when we told them 10-12 lbs. Birds are not as big as they look!

I have a friend with a hawkhead parrot... they are amazing birds!
