  • Whoops, I didn't answer all you questions! Lol, I had her for about three years and she was always nice. A little flightly, but never a biter.
Hey there! Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner; I haven't been on in awhile. Delilah has been doing fine in captivity. I caught her pretty soon after she hatched so she didn't see the outside world for very long. As long as I kept her fed she was happy :). She's with a new owner now though, as of the beginning of August, but I'm sure she's still doing just as well.
I'm not sure if the place where we met before is going to be part of the expo this year or not, seems as though I saw a blerb somewhere that said the area had expanded and the upper terrace inside (but outside the normal doors) is the only place I think they could expand too. I'm going to be vending and hopefully managing a fundraising booth for my 4-H club somewhere in the area of the show too, so I will be too busy with those things to try and to a cs.com member get together also :/ I'd be happy to meet you though, I am sharing a table with Wendy (henderson Herps) and my breeder name is Cozmic Cornz :D
It's that time of year again. The PDX Reptile Expo... I can't wait! As usually I will not be planning to purchase any new additions, but high white and albino kings always catch my eye.

We will also be having another breakfast get together before the show just outside the doors of the show. I was there around 8am then jumped into line around 9am I think. Anyone who would like to come a bit before the show is more than welcome, bring a little something breakfasty to share. It worked out great at the last show. Hope to see you / meet you there!
Hey all just a reminder that the show is only a few days away! August 14th in Willsonville OR. the doors open at 10am but we are having a CS.com member Breakfast potluck before the show starts on the upper terrace (see bottom of linked page for map) http://www.hiportlandsouth.com/meetings/capacity_floor_plans.html right beside the entrance of the Expo. If your planning to attend please PM about what Breakfast item you would like to bring (I'll be there by 8am) Here is a link to the show website

there is a online show coupon at the bottom of the page. Hope to see you there!
Good News Friends! I talked with Joel (event organizer for the PDX Expo I believe) and he said that we would be able to use the “Upper Terrace” just outside the Expo area in the Hotel the morning of the Expo.
Here is a link to a map of the Hotel (bottom of page)

The Expo is held in the “Dogwood, Cottonwood, Redwood and Candlewood” Rooms. We will be meeting on the Upper Terrace” just outside the Expo. Joel mentioned letting us pay our entry fee ahead of time. Adults $7 Kids 6-12 $3. There is a show coupon you can print off at the bottom of the Show web page.

We decided to have our get together in the morning before the show because a few of our members are vendors and after the show it would be unwise to keep unsold or newley purchased animals in cars for any length of time during the heat of the day. I know it’s early but I plan on being there at 8am. The doors are opened to go into the expo at 10am and there is usually a line of people waiting to get in before that, so 8am gives us a few hours to chat before the show.
I know everyone is on a tight budget but since it will be early and we aren’t meeting at a restaurant I thought it would be nice if everyone could bring a breakfasty type item to share. I plan to bring muffins from Costco, but other ideas might include fruit salad, granola bars, pastries, juices etc. Please message me and let me now what you plan to bring so we don’t have ppl bringing the same things. I am very excited to meet everyone and to have a great time at the show.
So I would like to organize a get together for those of us (Pacific NW Cornz) who plan on going to the Portland Metro Reptile Expo in August, preferably meeting at a food joint in the vicinity of the Holiday. Idk when would be a good time because I know a few of you will be vendors. But if anyone knows of a good place to eat let me know. So far I have seen a Pizza place and a BBQ.
Thanks. I just had my first batch of eggs laid last weekend. They should be Anery and Snow. I'm expecting quite a bit more. Check back at my website to see what is on the way -- I'll update during spring break. www.greasycreekcornsnakes.com
That depends on if your compliment was before or after I changed the pic! lol The little darling in the tree is Dazzler, an amel motley het stripe. (There are a couple other shots of her in the photo gallery. I'm a proud "mama.") If you meant the gold & silver fellow, Artephius, he's a diffuse caramel.
Thanks for the compliment on my avatar, Katie. I actually just changed the picture today!
Well it's faster than going and buying the book or borrowing it from a library and it's free... so not exactly slacking, just using your resources wisely. ;)
Thanks, I thought so too. :) I actually read the "book" (online version actually haha) just the other day and I came across that part and thought it would fit as a signature quote.
