    a couple updated 2001 pics

If I didn't know better I might almost think my Arizona is an amber after the color she turned with her last shed, but Rich sold her to me as a hypo het amber... I wanted to get a couple shots of her with a 2001 crimson to compare, but something in the lighting seems to have made her turn red...

    tips for problem feeder neonates!

If anyone has anything to contrtibute to this, by all means do! I had a little previous experience with problem feeders. One had eaten 2 or 3 meals, then just decided to stop eating. I had to use a pinkie-pump to force-feed him for a couple months. After reading similar accounts, I consider...

    morph "standard"

SerrpWidgets started a thread on "that other bulletin board" that I find quite interesting, and I know there must be some people here who generally avoid the "other board" so I'm posting a link to his initial post here... He started a discussion about trying to come up with an "official"...

not a corn pic, but linked from offsite!

I don't think I've met the "Rich" standard for cute leo pics quite yet (looking into a polarized filter for pics of shiny-snakes though - thanks for the tip!) But I still felt compelled to share this pic I just took... http://gallery.pethobbyist.com/data/4404twocute.jpg

Rich, who does the leo pictures?

Rich, do you or your wife take the leo pics on the SerpenCo page? Do you dangle a grub near the lens or something? Whatever your trick, I think they are some of the cutest leo pics I've ever seen! ^Curtis

Who has the biggest corn snake?

I have a few corns that are average, a few that are small, and a few that are large (I suddenly feel like I'm in a fairy-tale...) but I'm curious mostly about the BIG ones.... So.. please post how BIG is your BIGGEST corn? I have one corn that is substantially larger than all my others. Her...

    more Crimson eye-candy

These two are 2000's from Vinny Ritchie (I forget, but if they aren't directly from Rich they have his crimson blood nonetheless.) Meet Dracula & Elvira - notice the "blood-fang" saddles :)

    soliciting for an artist!

Since the contest brought some artists out of the woodwork, this seemed like at least a good a spot to post this solicitation as the miscelaneous forum... For the record, Rich gave me his blessing to post this, even though it's connection to cornsnakes is so tangendental (sp? word? heh) Thanks...

    4 more 2001 SerpenCo.s PICd

FYI, I organized the higher-res copies of all my "2001's from Rich" PICs that are at imagestation.com (under user HerpUtopia) by morph-type since they were getting out of hand as they increased in number. Now it's easier to look at the lavenders side-by-side for example. Anyway, on to the new...

    2001 SerpenCo Butter/Motley Female

the album of "serpenco 2001's" I have at imagestation.com (under username HerpUtopia) has a slightly higher-res copy of this, but I had M.J. and the camera both out at the same time today, so here she is!

    2001's from SerpenCo

so far, I've posted pics of nine of my 2001's I just got from Rich.... I hope you enjoy them; they are simple propless pics (these little guys are still very skittish so elaborate photo shoots are pretty much out of the question.) my imagestation.com serpenco album ^Curtis

    hypo motley.... motley crimson? amber?

just thinking out loud, really... the 'hypo' effect of the motley gene can be seen in many of the corn snake morphs, but an actual hypo motley seems to be devoid of black pigment, unlike a "run of the mill" hypo, or crimson, or amber which are both also derrived from a combination of genes...

    selling at exotic shows?

I imagine this is too general a question for a one size fits all type of answer, but any specifics would still be very handy to know about... here's the qestion: What do you need to sell at exotics shows? Obviously every show is going to have some rules and regs but, are there broad...

sorry Rich - delete if you feel this is out of line

Sorry Rich, this might be a completely out of line use of your bandwith, and if you think so please delete it, but here goes... If I was in the middle of doing some business with you via email (you know who you are) please contact me later today. Allow me to explain... The Complete Raging...
