Super Salmon Snow Corn Snake Genetics

I think what you are saying by using the term "Super Salmon" is referring to having two copies of the incomplete dominant Red Factor (RF) mutation. Depending on which naming convention you follow (there really isn't a right or wrong here btw), "Super Salmon" might be considered redundant, as...

    Tessera Yearlings (1.3)

Not your Normal Tessera... Sired by a practically borderless 'Yellowjacket' male. To be clear, I'm not sure if 'Yellowjacket' is an actual mutation or a set of line bred traits, but the adult 'Yellowjackets' I have are quite strange looking corns (very yellow (no red), borderless, glossy sheen...

    [emoji3544]My corn snake is squeaking[emoji3544]

I'd suggest you look here for a vet close you who is qualified to treat snakes: https://members.arav.org/search/custom.asp?id=3661. Hope your snake recovers quickly :)

Corn snake acting different than usual

Could be hormones, or could just be a normal change in behavior as he ages. Personally, I don't think you need to be concerned as unhealthy reptiles will typically hide more than normal, not become more active. Maybe double-check the temps in your enclosure though :)

First Time Corn Snake Mom...Be Kind!

A photo would be useful, but are we talking about a bulge past his cloaca (where poop exits :), or a bulge before his cloaca? Hemipenes are located posterior to the cloaca at the base of the tail. If the bulge is before his cloaca (body side), then it's likely just poop . The hemipenes can be...

    Are Lavenders Lazy?

All 4 of the Lavenders I have (photo of one of my males [Ultramel Lavender Aztec; maybe Peach] for eye candy) are without a doubt the most inactive corns I have ever owned. They are seriously the "Ball Pythons" of my collection :). My sample size is quite small though, so I started wondering if...

I'm curious if anyone can provide some info on "Leopard" Motleys... where the line originated, experiences with reproducing that look, etc... Thanks :)

    half & half!

Well this has got to be the weirdest damn thing I've seen in a while! :huh_01: https://www.morphmarket.com/us/c/reptiles/colubrids/corn-snakes/1796161 Anybody else know of other examples of this in Corns (or snakes in general)? If Scaleless were gender determined (it's not of course :)), I'd...

    Tiger Mutation?

Does anyone out there have any detailed (or anecdotal) info on this thing that ECW and BHB Reptiles are calling "Tiger"? BHB is claiming is it a "new proven mutation of genetic striping pattern" (https://www.morphmarket.com/us/c/reptiles/colubrids/corn-snakes/1546193). I'm interested if...

    Image Upload Criteria

Hi Rich, I just wanted to inquire about the image upload criteria. I also use Fauna Classifieds and despite the very similar look and function of that site and this one, it seems the image upload criteria are different, as I always end up needing to resize my photos so that this site will...
