Worms in water

Has anyone ever found these in the water before? What are they? Could the pet store mice have been carrying these in their system? Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk |
My guess would be it's in the moss or Aspen you're using. It's not unheard of to find spiders, flies, beetles, and various critters in packaged bedding. If you're feeding frozen/thawed mice, you'll not see that, and even feeding live mice I've never seen anything like that on them before. I've seen ticks and mites on mice but not that. And for the record, that is not a worm. It has legs. It is a larvae of some sort, probably some kind of fly or beetle.

Was there just the one? That looks like some kind of beetle larva. Definitely something that could have come out of a mouse or a snake.

Well, there are several reasons that you can find morio worms. More worms can be used for reptiles, birds, fish and insect-eating mammals and fish-bait. But, if you do not know from where these morio worms has occurred and how to get rid of these worm then you can consult your local pest exterminator regarding this issue.

I agree with you. It is always better to consult experts.
