Seeking some info on possible ID of my creamsicles

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and really glad to be here.

I have 2 creamsicles but know little of their parentage.

The female is a sort of off-white, sometimes appearing slighty yellowish base colour with apricot saddles whereas the male has a much whiter base and brighter/darker orange saddles.

I wonder if anybody is able to shed some light on their possible genetics. Would I be right in thinking the female has some butter in her? I had wondered if the male has a little more emoryi in him. I intend to breed these two.

The top image shows the 2 sided by side. The middle image is the female and the bottom image is the male. All photographs were taken just a few hours after shedding.

You already know as much about their genetics as possible based on their phenotype. They are creamsicles, which are amelanistic hybrids between a corn snake and an Emoryi's rat snake.

I would just chalk it up to natural differences, the same way 2 normals can look completely different from eachother. Do they have the same parentage? If not it is always possible that one has more percentage of emoryi than cornsnake, or vice versa, which may or may not attribute to the differences...but without knowing the parentage it's impossible to guess. Other than that there is not much else to tell except to echo Susan and say you've got an amelanistic emoryi x corn.
