I took my yellow rat out to make sure she isn't losing weight while brumating as per usual. She only lost 6g in the last month and was grumpier than I expected. She gave me a bite and left a tooth in my hand too.

Wow That tooth is so tiny!... I guess this may be a dumb question, but I don't think I've heard of a toothless snake... Do they grow new teeth when they lose them?

Do they sometimes 'shed' teeth? (either lost in the cage or maybe swallowed if they come loose while eating?

My understanding is that snakes grow teeth throughout there lives. They may come out when feeding and I assume are swallowed, but I do not think a snake sheds them regularly. It would be very hard to notice if they did, though.
