Burrowing

I recently changed from reptile carpet to a more natural bedding (3 parts Aspen, 2 parts Eco Earth, 1 part cypress chips) in an attempt to convince my wife to let me put Shelby in the living room. The Natural bedding, however, has given her the opportunity to burrow, and now this is all I ever see of her:

Yeah they LOVE to burrow. I use a mixture of soil and pine wood (1-3mm) and my snakes burrow a lot. Especially the younger ones.

That's why "reptile carpet", kitchen paper, newspaper etc are really bad ideas for keeping corns. (Not speaking of quarantine, but even for this I prefer a bedding they can burrow in.)

Enjoy this part of natural behaviour of your snake.

Cheers
Seriva
