Is a 100% HET SCALELESS CORN a 100% corn or is it true to get that there was a rat snake cross somewhere down the line of genetics

All scaleless, het scaleless, possible hets for scaleless and any animal descended from such is a hybrid.

So it isn’t worth getting then? I wanted to start breeding but I don’t wanna ruin any pure bloods.

Given that there are already a number of "noncorn" combinations in the hobby,(Ultra is a very common one) one can not know for sure what is pure corn. Add to that the fact that people regularly sell/breed animals without knowing the full genetic lineage and it becomes a mute point.
If you like Scaleless animals then have them in your collection and breed them if you want. Being honest when you sell or give them away helps the future owners keep track of the genetics. That's the best that can be expected at this time. The gene pool has already been thoroughly peed in. Your contribution or not will make no real difference.

Thanks my conscience was weighing on me to the point I was tryna back out of my purchase. Just won a bid on a BSRAUCTIONS.COM but after u said that it does make sense appreciate that input helps a lot.

Scaleless corns were first hatched in France I think (Reptilis?), from an emoryi rat snake or an emoryi rat/corn cross, like a "creamsicle" or "rootbeer" corn snake. Not too long ago Emoryi rats were taxonomically considered Western corn snakes. Also, yoiu are talking about a "hobby" corn that you've won; theres so much "X" floating around in various hobby lines of corns, kings, rats, milks etc unless you are REALLY against keeping ANYTHING suspect you are better off finding keepers with the same mind set, who keep and breed with that goal.

Honestly I’m still new this will be my first scaleless snake of any kind was just thinking I might not even breed that one just keep him as a pet and get some others for a breeding project from reputable breeders who know their genealogies of the snakes they are producing I don’t wanna cause myself a headache trying to keep up wit the unknown

Actually the very first scaleless snake I ever saw and handled was a Texas rat snake that was owned by Dr. Bechtel. Of course this was many years ago.

He let me handle it, and honestly the feel just gave me the creeps. But that is just me, I guess.

Lol man maybe I should try one clutch to get me some for self keeping never held one before and the one I’m getting only has the Het gene

Had a breeder condescend to me at a show for not breeding scaleless. I told him they weren't my thing and I personally didn't like them and he responded with "What, you don't like making money?" ... I was polite up to that point but the mocking was a bit much so I told him I prefer to my snakes to not feel like a shaved dog scrotum as I deal with that enough at my job. He was so offended and stomped off.
