Root beer corn

What makes up a root beer corn? I have seen this name tossed about but never a visual; what would one look like?

Thanks

I believe that a Rootbeer corn is an Emoryi x corn that displays a tan or brown ground color with darker brown saddles. Not just any non amel creamsicle,at least this is my understanding.I have only seen two of these in person in a show in Neb.

Rootbeer

Rootbeer is a name that has been coined for non amel intergrades that are brown (Rootbeer colored). Some breeders are using it, others are not. It's one of those names that hasn't really caught on throughout the entire cornsnake community. Other breeders have been toying with the idea of calling all non amel intergrades (normal, anery, hypo) Rootbeers, I don't think that will catch on.
This industry is funny that way. Some names will stick, others will be met with oposition and not be standardized. When one breeder produces a verifiable 'new' morph they pretty much get to name it whatever they like. When many people produce things like non amel Creamsicles, it's tough to get everyone to agree on a name.
Personally, I'll be calling my normal by-products of Creamsicles 'corn-emoryi intergrades'. There's absolutly no doubt what I'm selling then.

Yeah but if you dont deliver Clint (puppy dog eyes blinking) anyone outside your driving range will never get to see your morphs unless it is on your website....I Have seen your website You are a selfish tease because you wont ship LoL J/K

That is one of the benifits of being a hobbyist.......

I can be selfish if I want to ;)

Seriously though, I work in a field of public service and when I'm off work I like my privacy.

There are many other breeders available who are more then willing to ship and provide top quality service and animals. Most of my stock came from them anyway. I really have no interest in competing for thier business, they have enough as it is.

It's just too bad you don't live in the Pacific Northwest, we'll be putting out some nice snakes at Puyallup Wa. and Hillsboro Or. this year :)

Now ya just breaking my heart. I just might drive up there!!!! Ofcourse I live in Texas and that would be quite a drive....But hanging out in Washington (The Rainy State) Would be great compared to these 80-105 degree summer temps here!
