My Cornsnake is such a fail

My beautiful hypo cornsnake is...not all that bight. :) She missed her f/t mouse, struck herself, and was determined to win. After a few minutes she did figure it out and she was unharmed. :)

Poor baby! My adult who has cataracts has done this. Fortunately corn snakes rarely can hurt themselves this way.

Glad no harm was done!

I tried at first to stop her and it became quickly clear that I was making it worse. If there had been blood I would have been more concerned, but she did figure it out fairly quickly. :) Not a mark on her.

I wonder if being hypo makes her eyesight a little poor, or if she was just that excited.

I have a few that do that. The worst was an Okeetee who ate his tail!! After a couple pics, he had a quick trip to the sink to get run under water...
