Eugene paired to Torandre (ghost het amel) over 2 years producing some 38 babies without a single ghost or snow showing up, effectively ruling out hypo a and ultra. Current consensus is that these babies are most likely dilutes.

Pretty babies!

Paleosmith 09-09-2020 11:19 AM

Regarding: 6) & 7)- These babies are from my likely world's first Bansidhe (phantom moonstone), but I need to prove that male out for charcoal to be 100% certain. I'm listing these kids as p/h charcoal but they are likely actually het. They are also showing a sex-linked zigzag with the females showing pattern aberrations, but not the males...

I'd love to see pics of the parents and of the zig-zagged females and would be most interested to hear any thoughts you may have about the potentially sex-linked heritability of this pattern. Thanks! Paleosmith

Below are the pictures of the parents of this clutch. The 6 baby photos directly above your post are the remaining babies from this clutch. These are the mostly the 'less affected' females, but they still show good sections of zigzag.

Thanks for the response. Nice looking snakes! So weird that only the females are exhibiting zigzag pattern!
