I can't find my corn snake. I've sifted through all the reptibark in the cage and checked all the hide boxes and such. The cage has been shut and it was shut when I couldn't find him. There are no cracks or anything. What could have happened to it? Thanks

I know snakes are nocturnal, but I see pictures of snakes roaming around and everything during the day. Right now my corn only come out at night or when I pull him out to hold him. Is it because he is just a hatchling? Will he come out more as he grows? Thanks
