    Anyone here breed leos too?

I am trying to find a good explanation of an enigma. I have been to a bunch of sites, but I guess I'm not getting it. I have a male that I bought as an enigma, but he looks a lot like my super hypo male. Thanks for any info, Steph

    breeding question

Can you pair up cornsnakes this time of year like the ball pythons? I'm not brumating my only adult pair, and was just curious. I've not seen this asked before. Thanks

    breeding/egg question

Being a noob, this popped in my head last night. Why do you pull eggs and incubate them? I bred birds for many years, and some people did pull them. I always let mine sit. I haven't seen this covered, and was just curious. Thanks

    Do you handle your breeders?

I'm curious if you guys handle your breeders in the "off" season. I have a snow female that I enjoy having out and want to breed her next year. I know I won't handle her while gravid, but just didn't know if you got them out at all.

    For Robbie

Ok, this was your fault. I was admiring Josephine a while back and I think you said, "just get one". So, I did. I still need to name her. She is a hypo, pos. super hypo.

    I got a crestie

I finally broke down and got a crestie. Not sure of sex, but it's so cute! Pics aren't that good, I'm trying not to stress him out to much by handling him.

    egg question

Will a female corn produce eggs if not bred, like birds do? I know some lizard species will do this also. Thanks Steph

    Poo question

I have a question about poo. Specifically my ball python. He went the other night, but it was only the white stuff and seemed very dry. He is on f/t rat pups and eats 1x week. I usually see dark colored stuff with the other snakes. He has been on rats for the past 4 feedings, I don't know if...

    red tail care

Hi, I made an impulse buy at the reptile show today. A female red tail boa. I've always wanted one, and she is very friendly and docile. What is a good website or if anyone has experience with these guys I would really appreciate the info. I'll post pics when she settles in. I think she is...

    regurge question

This may be a stupid question, but is the protocol the same for other snakes for a regurge as for a corn? I also have a ball and KSB and just wondered for future reference. Thanks, Steph:shrugs:

    heat tape placement

I'm going to make a rack system and have a question about placement of heat tape. I thought it was put down on the actual shelf, but I have seen pics of it along the back wall. It will be holding mostly corns and kings. right now they are all '09 hatches, but I want to be able to get bigger...

    my first regurge

I have had this snake since new year's eve. He has eaten f/t once 3 days after I got him and then wouldn't take anything f/t. I tried once a week, then when he shed I thought he would eat. I tried to wait him out on f/t, but gave in last week. I fed him to very small live pinkies and today I...

    won't eat

I'm fairly new to corns. I have a young ghost that I've only had a few weeks. I let him chill after I had him for about 3 days and fed him f/t pinki. He took that fine. He shed 2 days ago and I offered another f/t pinki and he won't get near it. I tried dangling it in front of him with...

new to corns and what morph is it

Hi, I'm new to corns and have an amel and just got today a 2nd one, but I don't know what color morph it is. The white areas have a hint of pink to them. Don't laugh at my gloves, I use them with my little hateling and I feel much more confident. I take them off after a few minutes. I also...
