My take on other forums is that if you are referring to a female canid in a disucssion of canids, the word that begins with "b" is the correct & proper term & not a cuss word. If you are discussing the ancestry of donkeys in a discussion on equids, the word that begins with "a" is the correct & proper term too. If they are used in other contexts, they are cuss words. The correct term for a rather large body part is "buttock".
Of course, I am not speaking for the mods. Their take is the one we have to abide by, but if someone is discussing breeding dogs, what else do you call an intact female canid that you are planning to breed?
