Sadly that's part of the baby experience. Sometimes they make it, sometimes they don't. I've seen some eating healthy as an Ox, and pass away a few weeks later. Could be a number of things. Like Karl_Mcknight said though, go with an older snake at least 6 months old, that way you know it's healthy and strong
