Unusual find at PetSmart

Dragonling

Doesn't do "casual"
After a failed experiment with trying to carry fancy morphs of ball python, my store has slowly drifted back towards carrying colubrids. We started getting normal and Amel corn snakes, then got a Florida king, then a striped Cal king.

And then out of nowhere, after one of the kings sells, we get a gorgeous little White-sided T-Neg Florida, which I picked up yesterday. I don't think I've ever seen an adult. We'll get some pics with the good cameras in the coming weeks, but here are some cell phone snaps. It's a pretty thing, haven't sexed it yet, but tail is pretty sharply tapered so I'm crossing my fingers for female. It has stuck shed on the lower 3rd, which I'll probably clean off today. I started to last night, but with all the hubbub of transport it was a little stressed out.

Looks to be female, though kings are certainly more difficult to pop than corns. I candled her tail and saw no sign of hemipenes, so I am fairly confident. She's a gorgeous little thing. While getting her shed off, she weaved between my fingers as though she knew I was helping...of course as soon as I was done it was immediately back to angry defensive mode. What a goof.

Our local Petco just got one of these in a few days ago. The manager named him Richard aka"Dick" for his sweet disposition. ;)
