Rootbeer

Rootbeer is a name that has been coined for non amel intergrades that are brown (Rootbeer colored). Some breeders are using it, others are not. It's one of those names that hasn't really caught on throughout the entire cornsnake community. Other breeders have been toying with the idea of calling all non amel intergrades (normal, anery, hypo) Rootbeers, I don't think that will catch on.
This industry is funny that way. Some names will stick, others will be met with oposition and not be standardized. When one breeder produces a verifiable 'new' morph they pretty much get to name it whatever they like. When many people produce things like non amel Creamsicles, it's tough to get everyone to agree on a name.
Personally, I'll be calling my normal by-products of Creamsicles 'corn-emoryi intergrades'. There's absolutly no doubt what I'm selling then.
