That's a lucky snake. The only hesitation I would have on keeping a baby in that size is purely selfish. It would be really hard to find him when I wanted to.. If you don't mind digging around though, go for it! As well as lots of hides, I would also put lots of cheapy fake plants in there too so he won't be scared to leave the warm hide for the cool one or the water bowl or whatever. You don't have to make it look natural, just some little branches and fake foliage to drop over it. Also I'd recommend using plain old paper under him till he's well started.. Good luck!
