It looks like its only very localised, just a few villages affected.
I don't know much about Crypto, does it come in different strands?. Or is it a case of it being more dangerous in reptiles than it is in humans? That article says it gives humans the runs, isn't it fatal in reptiles?
There's no mention of reptiles in that article at all. I hadn't considered a reptile contracting Crypto from a water source
