Considering rehoming...

Hello! My husband and I have had a pair of corn snakes since August 2011. At the time we purchased them, we were dating, and my husband had two kids every other weekend. Now we are married, have full custody of his two kids, and have had two more together. Recently our rodent supplier went out of business and we've had a hell of a time finding quality frozen rats. For these reasons, we are considering rehoming the snakes. They are not getting the care they deserve and I'm feeling a lot of guilt about it. I would prefer that they go to a home that knows how to care for them properly, so I'm posting here in lieu of a Craigslist ad. We are located in Stayton, Oregon, but I would be willing to meet elsewhere (within reason).

Charlotte is a female plasma (het amel) hatched in July 2011. Milton is a male granite (het amel) hatched in June 2011. They were both bred by the Tropical Hut in Portland, Oregon. They are both docile, shed well, seem healthy, and have been great eaters (aside from Milton's usual spring-time fasting). They have been eating frozen/thawed food their entire lives.

I'm wondering if any local or semi-local breeders or hobbyists would like to take them on, or know of someone that might want them? We would be willing to give the snakes free to someone from this forum who knows how to care for them properly. They are each currently in their own 30 gallon long tank, which we'd be willing to sell with them.

I can take recent photos for serious inquiries. You can message me here or at kgarrison920@gmail.com. Thank you!
