Meet "Rufus"

What a great way to start the morning-- a Rufus picture! Rufus just makes me smile. Best regards to you both!

My necktie won't stay in place

Don't you just hate it when your necktie keeps moving about?

Maybe he's trying to be a flowy scarf? Either way, he's quite the fashion statement.

His favorite place to hide away

Have you ever wondered how does an almost 4 foot long snake fit into his favorite hiding place?

I certainly can not get him out. Once he's in there he has to come out on his own. Usually when I remove the lid, he slithers out. But just now he just sat there looking at me.

Ok.... back in the cage you go.

That's amazing. Wouldn't you think his back would get uncomfortable? He'd need a double appointment with the chiropractor!

I've always heard Corn Snake like tight fitting hides better than something loose. He has lots of other hides, but this is the one he goes to the majority of the time. It's a "Medium" Cave that I bought about a year ago. I expect he will probably get at least another foot longer (he's approaching 4 feet now) and I know he won't be able to use it much longer.

I'm going to have to purchase a "Large One" now for sure.

We have that same hide and a snake of similar size. He doesn't go in it quite as much as he used to, but when he does we canNOT get him out. I even picked it up and held it upside down once and he just stayed nicely tucked inside.[emoji12]

Karl, he needs an extra delicious mouse today. Your pictures really show Rufus' personality. You're his buddy!

Pardon me, do you have any Grey Poupon?

Disneyland may claim to be the happiest place on earth, but I know that it is really wherever Rufus is when Karl delivers a mouse!

Rufus is so nifty, his mouse should be served, with grey poupon
, on fine white china!
