Here is the corn snake we got for my daughter. Magellan is a very sweet and curious snake. This snake has got me thinking about getting my own.

Ok not thinking, planning. I’m planning on having my own.

Adorable. Good luck picking out your next one...and your next one...and the next one after that ;-)

Cute baby. Did your daughter ask for a snake or was it your idea? Just curious how you got to that.

She asked consistently for one for 2 years.

She has always been fascinated by snakes. It was a process for me. I love nature but snakes... they seemed scary. Pretty from afar , not up close thank you....kind of a thing for me. Whereas my daughter from the age of 3 was in love with them. She always spent birthday money on snake stuffed animals, toys, books. She’d spend hours watching Nature shows. We had reptile birthdays at the local nature center. It’s really through her that I began finding snakes not just beautiful but cute as well.

I’m a total convert.
