For years I've wanted a shelving unit set up. No one has been able to help me do it though....until THIS YEAR.

I have an amazing friend who was like sure I can help. Low and behold the end is in sight.

The shelves have been built, I just have to seal the wood and line it as I'm turning them into bio active terrariums. The pictures don't show the front but they are plexi glass. The latches will be applied after it's all painted. So I have it facing my wall right now to hold the doors closed. I will post more pictures as it goes.

I am so happy I could cry. There will be another shelf made identical to this one, so six of my snakes are housed. For now the other three will have to suffer (haha) in their tanks.

My old girl Una (who is now 25 years young) will be one of the first to have her own luxurious home.

Good luck with your project. A lot of planning goes into a project like this one. What sealer or paint to use, will it be waterproof, will it be easy to clean later, can I add heat tape, is it escape proof, etc.
